If the reason you are looking is consolidation rather than variety, the comparison changes completely. A casino with a thousand slots and no sports section is a poor fit for someone who bets on football every weekend and plays slots between matches. A sportsbook with a token casino tab is a poor fit for the reverse.
Two products is not one account
Plenty of sites carry both and behave as two systems bolted together. The money moves between them and the account stops being readable, which defeats the point. A single account has to hold up on five things.
- One balance, or a visible and instant transfer between wallets
- One verification process rather than two
- One transaction history showing casino and sports activity together
- One set of limits and account controls covering both products
- A withdrawal process that does not change depending on where you won
Bolted-on sportsbooks usually fail the third and fifth. That is worth testing with a small amount in each product before the balance matters.
Prediction markets are the newer part
A small number of UK-facing sites outside the network now put prediction markets in the same login. It is a different product from fixed-odds betting: positions rather than a settled price, and a different risk profile. If that is the draw, check how positions appear in the transaction history, whether they count towards bonus wagering, and whether a withdrawal can be requested while a position is still open.
The honest trade
One login is simpler to verify, simpler to limit and simpler to read. It also puts three products in front of you at once, which is worth thinking about before it is worth optimising.
